Tricor Pacific acquired Expocrete in November 2007 recognizing its numerous opportunities in the robust Western Canadian markets of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
In 2008, Expocrete acquired Weldon's Concrete Products Limited ("Weldon's"). Weldon's is Saskatchewan's leading concrete pipe, manhole, pre-cast, masonry, and hollow core manufacturer, serving customers in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. Located in Saskatoon, Weldon's manufactures specialized concrete products for the infrastructure (government and other), construction (residential, commercial and industrial), and agricultural markets.
In 2009, Expocrete acquired CCI Industries, Western Canada's and Washington State's leading manufacturer and marketer of concrete hardscape, masonry and industrial precast products.
In March 2013, Expocrete Concrete Products Ltd has been acquired by Oldcastle Building Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of CRH plc, has purchased Expocrete Concrete Products Ltd.

The acquisition of Expocrete’s Western Canadian footprint will add to Oldcastle’s existing network and will enable Oldcastle the ability to serve customers throughout western Canada.
